My name is Christina, and I started Limyè Books because I believe every business owner deserves financial clarity — not just the ones who can afford a big firm.
Limyè is the Haitian Creole word for light. I’ve chosen it not as a decoration, but as a direction. Light is what happens when confusion gives way to clarity. It is what you feel when someone finally explains your numbers in a way that makes sense, when your books stop feeling like a source of dread and start feeling like a tool. That is what I want every client to walk away with.
I came to this work through years of professional experience in accounting and bookkeeping across multiple industries, including fund administration and time as a QuickBooks Live expert where I worked directly with small business owners to untangle, organize, and make sense of their finances.
Limyè Books was built to change that. And everything about the way I work comes back to three values:
